Ahmed is consultant cardiologist and electrophysiologist at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS trust .He has been awarded his master’s degree and PhD in Cardiology at Ain Shams university after completing his cardiology training in Egypt. He has then undergone three years of advanced EP and devices fellowship at Eastbourne District general hospital and Barts Heart Center in UK. Ahmed has dual accreditation in EP and Cardiac Pacing from European Heart Rhythm Association (EHRA) and has recently been elected to fellowship of Royal College of Physicians and fellowship of European Society of Cardiology. His areas of expertise include management of patients with different heart rhythms problems, ablation of different atrial arrhythmias and implantation of simple and complex cardiac devices.
