Lesley studied medicine at the University of Glasgow and then worked as a GP in Dundee and Birmingham until she retired in 2021. She currently volunteers for PoTS UK, where she is trustee and chairperson. She continues to support the development of educational resources in the fields of postural tachycardia syndrome, syncope and long COVID.
