Dr Fu Siong Ng is a Reader in Cardiac Electrophysiology at Imperial College London, and a clinical cardiologist and cardiac electrophysiologist. He is a Clinician Scientist and currently leads a multi-disciplinary programme of research into arrhythmogenic mechanisms alongside performing invasive ablation procedures and implanting pacemakers and defibrillators in patients with heart rhythm disorders. He currently supervises 3 post-doctoral research associates and 8 PhD students at Imperial. He has >120 peer-reviewed publications and 2 patents, and currently holds a 5-year British Heart Foundation Programme Grant as PI. His research projects span the translational research spectrum, from benchtop high-resolution optical mapping of myocardial fibrillation, through to development of novel signal analysis tools for myocardial fibrillation and novel AI-enabled ECG models, and invasive first-in-human low-energy atrial defibrillation studies.
