Dr Hampton studied syncope in Newcastle under Prof RoseAnne Kenny and completed her MD in Carotid Sinus Syndrome. She then set up the Syncope Service in Addenbrookes Hospital in 2012. She continues to lead this service for all ages, alongside being a Consultant Geriatrician.
